Cristelle Rodriguez, DDS
Dr. Cristelle Rodriguez has been setting the highest standard of excellence in pediatric dentistry since 1989. “Dr. Cris,” as she is known to her patients, is a pediatric dental specialist. Her passion for children’s dentistry is reflected through her friendly, reassuring personality, as well as her skillful talent in making patients feel at ease.
Born in Queens, NY, and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Dr. Rodriguez received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1989. She completed her post-doctorate residency training at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Rodriguez also graduated from the DECOD Program (Dental Education in Care of Persons with Disabilities) from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Rodriguez is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Cris has always maintained a commitment to “giving back” and as a volunteer has provided much needed dental care to underprivileged children and their families throughout several countries. She genuinely treats every child as if they were her own and continues to help children and adults in her Virginia community.

Dr. Awad E.Kamil BDS, MSC, MFDRCSI
Dr. Awad E. Kamil completed his residency in pediatric dentistry from University of Florida in Gainesville which is one of the most respected and highly competitive hospital based programs in the United States. His main interest is working with pediatric patients including children with special needs in both clinical and hospital based settings.
Before Dr. Kamil moved to the United States, he had over a decade of experience teaching and practicing pediatric dentistry around the world. Dr. Kamil received his dental degree in 2000 and a clinical MSc in 2006. He was granted the prestigious membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2013. He then joined the pediatric dental program at the University of Florida. He worked in both the outpatient and hospital setting taking care of pediatric dental patients.
Dr. Kamil is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and PedoGator Alumni. He is excited about continuing his passion for pediatric dentistry at NOVA Children’s Dentistry as he enjoys “meeting and taking care of children and seeing their smiles!”
